Frankly, I don't like how close the wave is to the man in the picture considering the man hasn't made it to the top of the hill.

aaah, the good ol' tsunami evacuation route sign. it looks similar to ours, which are blue and don't have the little man. whenever i drive past one i wonder whether anyone will be looking up to a little sign when escaping a tsunami... btw, is that yet another japanese word we've incorporated into the english language?
