Swearing In

Swearing in can have two meanings when it comes to politics:

1. When a politician puts his hand on a religious book and takes an oath.

2. When Vice President Dick Cheney swears at a US Senator while in Congress.

did your dad really appoint you the livingston ambassador to vietnam? that's pretty awesome. also, you have got a pretty great family. which is an understatement. also, if i get pulled over in livingston in the next year (not that i own a car or drive), can i say that i read the blog of the mayor's son and am essentially a facebook friend of a friend (or i suppose i could 'fess up to being hannah's friend--speaking of which, i demand more hannah! did you all see elephants?) and get off the hook? well, i suppose that seems like a lot of effort. i guess i'll just keep focusing on not driving.

and seriously--post more about the elephants!

Laura, your wish is my command on the elephants. Stay tuned in a week for EVEN MORE about the elephants.
