There Is No Hope

If you read yesterday's blog entry, my class tonight was supposed to discuss when a woman will become president of Vietnam. As soon as I walked into class I was greeted with a chorus of, "Can we change the topic? It is very boring." The chorus was all the girls in the class. I tried to argue with them that it was perhaps the most important topic we could talk about but they didn't want to hear about it. Instead they wanted to talk about something much more exciting -- autumn.

I take back what I said yesterday. There is no hope.

Do they have autumn in Viet Nam? The smell of the air, the colors on the trees, the cool dry air could be very interesting growing up in a hot humid climate.

Maybe the girl in the photo's name is Autumn!
Talk about Charlie Brown's Pumpkin Patch....Halloween and witches flying on their brooms to the next house to clean.
Never Give Up!

(anonymous poster here) to the mom born in october= hanoi (northern vietnam in general) definitely does have an autumn as well as a winter (all 4 seasons). it's south vietnam that's hot and humid all year long. of course north vietnam is hot as hell as well during summer but hanoi is famous for its autumn. vietnamese people have tons of songs and poems dedicated to hanoi's autumn
